Week 1 with cousin Joris

Cousin Joris is visiting for 3 weeks and the boys have had alot of fun. Playing at the pool and going to the zoo. And a first for both, up camping eating huckleberry pancakes.

Apple Juice!

Cooper was playing nicely in the garden when I heard him exclaiming over and over "Apple Juice" I looked over and to my amazement he had something round and green that looked like an apple. Nope...not an apple, daddy's unripe tomatoes! He ate them happily anyway.

Luke and Brodee gave Cooper a couple of swimming lessons last weekend.

Well, it took those older cousins to show Cooper how to play in the sandbox! I think he got the hand of it.

One year ago, seems like yesterday, Coopers first camping trip on the 4th of July. Apparently I didn't put the camera away after camping because I had a big selection of pictures to choose from that week.

Happy 4th of July

We did set off some fireworks and the boys loved them. Daddy loves playing with fire, and it appears Cooper may follow in his footsteps! Notice the precautionary measures dad takes while lighting fireworks, no shirt is better than loose clothing just in case of a random spark!

While dad was setting up for our firework show Cooper had alot of fun playing in his popcorn explosion. There is still evidence of this in our front yard a week later...who knew that squirels were so picky?
