We had a Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve

Cooper took part in his first fondue party, our Christmas Eve tradition.

Cooper and Lexi got to open gifts from each other, a ball popper for Lexi and a fire truck for Cooper.

Cooper riding in Santa's sleigh.

The video is a little dark...it's like that when your flying high in the sky on a cloudy night with Santa, but you can see how much fun Cooper was having.

Pictures with Santa

We are lucky that Santa has a house close to us, we've visited a couple of times...the first time Cooper was really shy.
Here we are with some friends riding on top of his old fashion fire truck.
Our second visit Cooper was less shy,
Lexi was still a little unsure.

Some of my favorite pictures, one from each month of her first year. Happy Birthday Alexia!

Lexi's 1st birthday party

Granny threw Lexi her first birthday...in style I might add! She got her all dressed up, had lots of decorations, all of her Oregon cousins and Aunts and Uncles were there, and she even shares her birthday with her soon to be Aunt Elizabeth. Oh ya and even fireworks!!!! Although in true Oregon fashion we watched from inside because of the rain. Thanks Grannie you made the day special!

Halloween or Bust

Well we finally had fun carving pumpkins and trick or treating but Cooper never wanted to put on his costume, although he'll still tell you he was a butterfly. Lexi was a duck and wore her costume on several occasions. We ended up saying Cooper was a fisherman, and I carried his fishing pole.

Jack-o-lantern

Well someone is upset because we cut his pumpkin!

Now I'm down to only two helpers,

one of which only wants so eat...yum yum.

No thanks Lexi, I prefer mine in the form of a pie!

Sandpoint Idaho

We went visit some friends in northern Idaho last weekend and had a great time. Who know we would see the statue of Liberty? Sorry we didn't stop in to say hi Joseph!

Playing with puppy

The kids love their puppy Caillou! I would have thought by now the newness would have worn off but it hasn't. Cooper is always snuggling and tackling him and sissy lays around on top of him. He's pretty patient, hopefully that won't change.

Spirit of Boise Balloons

We got up bright and early...Cooper greeted us with his usual "meow" and we were off to the balloon launch. The kids loved it, Coops kept wanting to go for a balloon ride, maybe when he's older!

Blast off!

Favorite picture of the hot air balloons, looks like this shuttle is blasting off to the moon!

Camping...

First Camping trip with or new puppy, Lexi was a mess all weekend since she insists on not being held, and Cooper always had to have his "Knockers" as he called them. I laugh every time he says, "where's my knockers?"

Goose Lake

Lexi and Cooper fast asleep, they look so cute next to each other...they're not so cute when lexi is trying to escape from under him in the middle of the night.
Cooper's first canoe ride.
Lexi in the frog sleep sack one early morning.
A little break from the car ride home along the payette river.

Which dog would want to live with us?

I hope our new dog is very patient...

Which Puppy?

We went to Oregon this past weekend to choose a puppy, they were all so cute we can't decide between these two. The big question is which one will survive best here as Coopers new best friend?
