Flashback

This is my cutie, he must have been having a happy dream. This was taken one year ago.
Week 3 of the Sandcastle project.Well Dad came home from work on Friday and said lets go get some sand. Yeah! Here is Cooper watching the Tractor dump it in the truck.

Saturday, March 21, 2009

Once again dad wanted to help, in fact he begged to load the sand into the tire! He moved at such a rapid speed with his shovel and wheel borrow that we got no photo documentation of it. Cooper did dad do an okay job?
Now does that look like a happy face or what?

This is Cooper and his buddy playing peek a boo with each other. I didn't actually capture the best part, but this gives you a little taste of the fun.
Plum tuckered out! Yes he's a cute little thumb sucker! I'm sure I won't be saying that when he still does it when he's 5.
I guess chopping of the onions wasn't needed!
What a good little helper. Cooper loves to help me cook dinner now. He has managed to stop licking spatulas with raw egg and other uncooked prep for the meal.

Okay, here is Cooper 1 year ago today with his Aunt Adrienne and her mother. Guess where we were? You might be able to tell by the tans and Cooper's nice glowing skin. Hawaii...that's right. And just to let you know, 8 week old babies burn very easily even in the shade!!!

Week 2 Sandbox update

Okay, I feel like we made some progress this weekend. And just for future reference I will be referring to this project as the sandcastle from this day forward. After all does this look like your average sandbox? I don't think so. Hopefully with my coupons to the fabric store for March 19th this project will be done after only 3 weeks. Don't forget to look back at the drawing if you don't know where I'm going to be putting fabric at.

First Group Picture 1 year ago.

After Getting together with each other for a couple of weeks we decided we should take pictures of the boys periodically. Here is the first of many. From left to right, Thomas, Cooper and Joseph. P.S. It's the middle of winter and where are Cooper's socks?

Best Buds!

Okay, so these guys have spent nearly every waking minute of their lives together. Well almost! We always laugh about how they all have the same hair and eye color regardless of what their parents look like. We think they are part of an alien experiment. From Left to Right, Cooper, Thomas and Joseph.

Big Boy Eater

Yesterday was the first day that Cooper sat at the big kids table. From now on, only booster seats!
This is Cooper's Zebra that his cousins gave him, he loves to ride it. We gave him the extra challenge of riding in his slippery sleep sack. Okay really he cried until we got him out of bed one evening!
Week One Tire Update

Step 1... Wash tire and select the perfect heat reducing color. In this case Honeydew!
Step 2... Let daddy in on the action so he doesn't feel left out. We always let him help!
Cooper approved!
AHHHH, Here is the drawing I promise last week! This is a drawing of our finished sandbox, god willing?

Saturday, March 7, 2009

This is the first of my weekly flashbacks from last year. I hope this will help me fill in the gaps from his first year I missed blogging. This picture was taken on March 7, 2008...he played on this mat alot, we named it "the park".

Thank you Nampa Tractor Salvage for the free tire to make a sandbox! After getting lost, driving for over 2 hours and Cooper having to protest almost, most of the time, this better be worth it!

This is the much needed bribe that I used to get my car keys back from Cooper at the tractor salvage. I knew we would be in trouble if we had to call dad and make him drive and hour and a half round trip to bring us some new keys. In that place the keys would have been long gone!

Do you think I can grab a sucker that was throw across the back of the truck while driving 65mph? Apparently I can! I'm amazed sometimes at how far I can stretch if I have too. I must have learned a little something from Diego...Stretch, Stretch, Stretch! Oh ya, and the picture I took behind my back wasn't bad either.
SWEET SUCCESS! We made it home. Tune in tomorrow for a drawing of the finished project.

Sunday, March 1, 2009

This is one of my best friends and we are role playing...he's the dog and I'm the master! If you listen carefully at one point he says hurry and I say it's coming.

Yes Cooper, this is Dora and Boots, don't be afraid. You love them!

Here goes...

A year late and inexperienced! Here goes...

I guess it's time to move into the 21st century and start blogging. This will be nothing fancy but hopefully with time we will be able to see marked improvements in this blogs entertainment value and structure...but I'm not making any promises. This will probably occur when Cooper turns four and usuing his own wit and computer skills can post to his own blog...oh ya and he'll have it in French too!
